Pidgin — Email client

Pidgin is an email application for reading, composing, sending, and organizing messages in your connected email accounts, including Gmail and Microsoft email accounts.

How it works

Connect an email account by signing in with your email provider and authorizing access. Pidgin uses that connection to display your mailbox and carry out email actions you request, such as reading or sending a message.

Why Pidgin requests Google access

For Gmail accounts, Pidgin uses Google APIs to provide email-client features. Depending on the permissions you grant, this can involve accessing your email address, messages, attachments, and labels, and sending or organizing mail on your behalf. Google API access is used for email functionality.

You choose whether to grant access and can revoke it at any time in your email provider’s account settings.

Pidgin’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Read our privacy policy for details about data handling and our terms of service for conditions of use. Pidgin is operated by Abdullah. Questions: pidgin@abdullahs.ca.
